Eligibility Requirements for the Fred Myers Scholarship

Must be a dependent child or spouse of a union member who lives or works in Genesee County Michigan
A completed scholarship application
Completed FAF form at enrolled college
Signed release statement providing FAF information to the Fred Myers Union Scholarship Committee from enrolled College
MUST be enrolled in a fall quarter/semester at approved college in the State of Michigan
Must provide a transcript of college courses showing one year of completed college work
Must provide a 300 word typewritten statement about unionism, why this scholarship is needed and how the student will benefit from it
Must provide information on the union member and relationship
Scholarship application deadline is December 20, 2021

Winners will be selected by the Fred Myers Scholarship Committee and notified the first week of January.
